I assumed like most games that continuing to play after you can prestige would earn more rewards, but it doesn't, and it made the game way too tedious because the objectives don't reset and I completed so many in the first run that they were so hard to reach in the second.

If you run out of room but haven't built e.g. farm yet, you can't delete anything and the run is doomed. Restart is the only option.
